Possible Ins
According to reports Auxerre striker Benjani has been in talks with Portsmouth today and hopes to "keep us up" and the feeling is that he will be signed tommorow. Other than that The Sun are reporting that Carlo Cudicini and Benni McCarthy of FC Porto will be joining us for a combined fee for 10 million squids. Whilst I don't believe that McCarthy will join if we sign Benjani I do think Cudicini could be a possibility on loan seeing how such a top qualty goalkeeper is being kept out of the Chelsea side.
One player who won't be joining us is Chris Sutton. He has signed for Birmingham City until the end of the season.
There will be a press conference tommorow where it is predicted Alexandre Gaydamak will be present to explain his plans for Portsmouth FC. Should be an interesting one!
