Ben Tollitt has signed for Tranmere Rovers permanently for an undisclosed fee after a successful loan spell with the National League side.
The 22-year-old leaves Pompey having just scored the one goal in his career at Fratton Park, but it's a shame to see a young talent leave, especially as he always looked like a handful for defenders when he came off the bench last season.
Whilst Paul Cook may have plenty of attacking options available to him, only Kyle Bennett possesses the same amount of pace as Ben. However, January arrival Jamal Lowe is also supposedly quick, so perhaps that's why the manager allowed Ben to leave for a fee.
We'll all wish Ben the best of luck up north and he'll surely be playing in the Football League again in the near future.
