It is fair to say that Carl Tiler isn't a fans favourite, his lackadaisical approach to the back line has been akin to Laurent Blanc's approach to Manchester United duties. For Pompey fans, who appreciate players like Darren Moore or even Noel Blake, Tilers lacklustre approach has not gone down well.
After joining the team in difficult circumstances last season, the player has not redeemed himself in fans eyes and has been made a scapegoat. It even reached the point where Rix had to intervene to try and get Pompey fans to offer Tiler some support.
He failed and injury has reduced him to a bit player this season. It is possible that Tilers last appearance in a Pompey shirt will be one of complete shame where he lost his head (literally) and headbutted an opposing player. However with Bradford showing an interest, it is Tiler who will have the final say over any move.
It is thought that the club will not ask for a fee for the defender - despite shelling out half a million last year. Bradford boss Nicky Law is playing down talk of a possible move, saying that he is 'one of many' that the club are looking at.
