The popular defender had been in excellent form so far this season, starting out at centre back before being moved to left back following an injury to David Unsworth. Now that he too has been struck down, I guess it'll fall to Matt Taylor to try and fill in.
Personally that doesn't fill me with great confidence - he's a good player, but by his no admission no defender. With a visit of the champions Arsenal on Sunday, he's not going to be given any room for error and will need to come flying out of the blocks.
