Club captain Dejan Stefanovic has signed a new contract with Portsmouth, keeping him at the club until 2008. The 31 year old defender told the official site that he can't wait for the new season to begin having just come back from his holiday and is happy to stay at Pompey with Harry at the helm.
This isn't suprising news as Dejan had quashed media speculation towards the end of last season claiming that he was moving back to Holland. The skipper had come in for a bit of criticism last season following some poor performances, despite carrying an injury. Here's hoping that Dejan will be back to his best this coming season, or maybe even better now with Tony Adams to coach him.
