There were rumours that the Pompey captain had a bust up with club officials and walked out of Fratton Park. However, Harry Redknapp insists that Campbell had a back injury that he picked up in training on Thursday and didn't train on Friday. The chiropractor couldn't fix it in time for the game on Saturday which explains his absense from the team.
Redknapp told Peter Storrie about the rumours and he also laughed them off and dismissed them as rubbish.
So if somebody sees Sean Davis shopping in Winchester on Saturday, it doesn't mean he is leaving the club!
