"Local referee Mick Pierce inspected the pitch at 11.30am Friday morning and said that it was totally unplayable.
"With temperatures forecast to plummet on Friday night, it would need a great rise in temperature for the pitch to become playable."
The game which was to be shown live on TV will now take place this Monday with an 8pm kick-off and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
