Harry Redknapp has won his court case against the City of London police after the High Court judged the raid on his Sandbanks home to be unlawful.
However, not long after that the Pompey manager was taken in for questioning and then released on bail later today.
I'm not surprised that Harry has won as the police were out of order to perform the raid at 6am, scaring the life out of Sandra Redknapp and involving the press who were surely tipped off by someone in the force.
The City of London police have been ordered to pay Harry £1,000 and further estimated £10,000 of legal fees after the judge ruled that the warrant the police used had been produced illegally.
This event is a reminder that despite the most fantastic of seasons, the "corruption in football" probe is something that the club continues to be linked to and I can't rest easy until the whole case is closed.
