He's a nice fella, too" This deal does rely on Mandaric who is thought to be unwilling to match Ginola's £25,000 wages but is willing to offer him a similar deal that lured Prosinecki to Fratton Park last season. This would be around £15,000 a week - but with huge bonuses if he is able to fire Pompey into the Premiership.
Last season proved that you need more than one World Class player to make a real difference but with Ginola on the left wing, he is in a better position to Prosinecki as teams will not be able to muscle us out in the centre of midfield. There is no doubting his qualitity and the deal would probably see Pompey transformed from a hard working, young side into one that is capable of truly damaging sides this season.
