Therry Racon has signed a one-month deal with Portsmouth having been without a club since being released by Millwall in the summer.
The 29-year-old is likely to go straight into the starting line-up for Saturday's match with Rochdale as Simon Ferry is ruled out with a hamstring injury. Hopefully he will partner Romain Padovani after Johnny Ertl's recent performances.
As I've said before, this should be a good deal for Pompey. Racon was the "unsung hero" of the team's better performances towards the end of last season and his presence should solidify what has been a weak centre midfield.
