Linvoy Primus, a transfer target for Norwich City, and his agent John Mac are set for showdown talks with Harry Redknapp and Milan Mandaric to confirm if his future lies at Fratton Park.
Primus is understood to be among the lowest paid defenders at the club - less than new signings David Unsworth and Andy Griffin - and this is believed to be unsettling the fan favourite, who is tempted by Norwich's improved offer for his services.
Mandaric has already stated that he wishes to retain the services of the former Barnet defender, but agent John Mac said: "Linvoy is a total professional who has done a superb job for his club on and off the field".
"All he wants at Portsmouth is to be as valued as the players around him".
