If Portsmouth can defeat Ipswich in their FA Cup replay next Tuesday then the reward is a fourth round tie at home to AFC Bournemouth.
The Premier League side overcame Birmingham at St. Andrew's in the last round and will undoubtedly be favourites for this tie should Pompey get past the Tractor Boys. It will also be strange to see a Premier League club come to a League Two ground that will host a larger crowd for a cup tie than their league games.
The tie will most likely be played on Saturday, January 30th which sees the League Two game at Barnet moved to a Tuesday night.
As for the Ipswich replay, its date has been confirmed to be Tuesday, January 19th with a 7:45pm kick-off. £18 for an adult ticket is fairly steep given that the original tie was priced cheaper. The club have certainly missed a trick there as more sensible pricing could have seen Fratton Park sold out.
