Pompey take on Notts County tomorrow night looking to get the memories of Saturday's defeat to Hartlepool out of their system.
Team News
Darel Russell has left the club so Guy Whittingham may decide to bring Liam Walker back into the side. Frankie Sutherland and Sam Sodje may be given starts after being on the bench during the last match.
Bartosz "Scummer" Bialkowski will miss the game for Notts County after suffering a head injury at Leyton Orient and so will be replaced with Fabian Speiss who finished that game as man of the match.
The Match
Pompey may be in dreadful form but the Magpies have been struggling recently and lost their whopping unbeaten run away from home on Saturday following a 2-1 defeat at Leyton Orient.
With only one win in their last seven, County fans have become slightly miffed with their team falling out of the play-offs and into mid-table. They have already beaten Pompey twice this season, however, and will fancy their chances of a treble.
If I was Guy Whittingham I would push Johnny Ertl into midfield and either bring Shaun Cooper back into the centre back trio alongside Rocha and Gyepes or give Sam Sodje a chance to prove himself.
I say this a lot but Liam Walker should also be given a chance to impress. Put him in the centre of the park and see if he can influence the game with his passing and creativity - something this current Pompey team desperately lacks.
Apart from that, hopefully the younger players in Reed and Butler will be given more opportunities to push forward and provide Connolly and Keene with a few chances to score.
Can Portsmouth finally end that long winless run? I wouldn't put your money on it.

Zoko and Arquin were on the scoresheet in this desperately poor performance from Michael Appleton's men in which Scott Allan was sent off and Ashley Westwood sent to the stands for punching Campbell-Ryce.
My Prediction
Having seen County beat us easily twice already this season I can't help but think that they will make it a hat-trick of victories after watching us lose to Hartlepool on Saturday. That defence of ours will gift them too many chances.
