Fratton Park will host its first ever match between Portsmouth and Cheltenham Town with what should be a bumper crowd in attendance.
Team News
Ryan Taylor could be available again after he returned to training this week and Andy Barcham's wife has now given birth so he also returns for this match. Michael Drennan and Daniel Alfei have returned from international duty but Danny East and Simon Ferry are still ruled out with injuries.
The Match
The performance on Monday night has given Pompey fans some much needed belief heading into what is a pivotal match against Cheltenham Town on Saturday.
Richie Barker's men can leap the Robins in the table with a win and more importantly widen the ever increasing gap between themselves and the bottom two. Lose, however, and the pressure is back on and all the optimism gained from the result at Chesterfield will have evaporated.
With Alfei and Drennan back in the squad it's expected they'll reclaim their places in the starting eleven after missing out on Monday, with Joe Devera moving into centre back to partner Ben Chorley which will see Bondz N'Gala drop to the bench despite his solid performance at the Proact Stadium.
Drennan could well take the place of one of the midfielders but you would wonder if the manager would change the formation which worked so well in the last match. The feeling is that he'll revert to playing two strikers at home if only to stop what should be a huge crowd moaning about playing the one forward at home to mid-table opposition.
Pompey have started to look more like a team in their last couple of games and there'll be quite a few fans who will be more confident of their team winning a match since Barker took the job. However, Cheltenham are no mugs and in Ashley Vincent, Jermaine McGlashan and Jamie Cureton have a front three who will give Pompey's back four a tough time.
Still, this is as good a time as any to be positive about Portsmouth's prospects for the rest of the season. If they can win on Saturday then we could start looking up the table rather than down it and the mood around the club would completely change.
So let's hope that the lads don't buckle under the pressure of playing in what should be a near-sold-out Fratton Park and the fans leave happy. After all, it only takes one bad result for the atmosphere around the club to turn sour once again.

My Prediction
Pompey are starting to play well and are in some good form, especially at home and so I'd expect them to beat an inconsistent Cheltenham side, albeit with cautious optimism.
