Pompey take on third-placed Blackburn at Fratton Park tomorrow night looking to build on Saturday's win at MK Dons and really push for a play-off position.
Team News
Christian Burgess will return to the starting eleven after serving his suspension whilst Kenny Jackett has hinted at some squad rotation with a cluster of games coming up in a short space of time.
Tony Mowbray has no new injury concerns ahead of Rovers' trip to the south coast.
The Match
Tomorrow's match will mark the first time Pompey and Blackburn have met at Fratton Park since both sides were in the Premier League in 2010 and should the Pompey fail to win, it will mark their worst run at home for five years.
However, the mood around the place should be good following the smash and grab at Milton Keynes on Saturday and the atmosphere should be electric for a Tuesday night game where Pompey will be the underdogs for a change.
Blackburn put Pompey to the sword far too easily in the reverse fixture and boast a team full of quality attacking players such as Bradley Dack and Danny Graham. However, they have stuttered in their quest for automatic promotion having only managed a draw with Oldham on Saturday after being beaten by Plymouth in their last away game. So they are far from invincible.
As for the team that plays tomorrow, Jackett has hinted that Conor Chaplin will start following his late goalscoring heroics at stadium:mk (despite doing little else during the game) and he could give Brett Pitman a much needed strike partner.
Indeed, it seems like Pompey have been practising playing a 4-4-2 formation with Nathan Thompson and Ben Close providing the steel in midfield with Gareth Evans and Jamal Lowe either side of them.
Whoever plays, they'll do well to beat a team who have only suffered one defeat in twenty league games. But that just means a victory will be all the more sweeter and put Pompey right back on track in the promotion race.

Last Time: Portsmouth 0 Blackburn Rovers 0 (Premier League - 04/04/2010)
This dire match will be remembered for one reason only and that will be a bemused Chris Kamara somehow missing Anthony Vanden Borre's dismissal live on Soccer Saturday.
My Prediction
Rovers will be tough and despite winning on Saturday, Pompey were far from their best. Time to sit on the fence for this one...
