Pompey will host Russian Premier League side FC Rostov in a friendly match on Wednesday, October 5th.
The game is to raise money for the families of the victims of the recent air crash in Russia where 44 people died. The aircraft was carrying the Lokomotiv Yaraslovl ice hockey team when it crashed with almost the entire playing staff losing their lives along with seven of the air crew.
The match will kick off at 7:45pm with ticket details to be announced shortly. There is an international break to follow this match so there should be no worries about fatigue before the next league game with Barnsley on October 15th, which is live on Sky.
