Pompey have made their first signing of the January transfer window by bringing in forward Quincy Owusu-Abeyie from Spartak Moscow.
The 23-year-old Ghanian can play as a striker but is expected to play on the left wing for Pompey. He has previously played for Birmingham, Cardiff and Celta Vigo but was never prolific at any of those clubs.
Quincy was arrested on suspicion of assault following the 2005 PFA Awards but no charges were pressed. Despite this, his attitude has come into question on more than one occasion.
And whilst I'm not particularly excited about Quincy joining for the rest of the season, I'm not going to bury him because of his past and it was only yesterday that Danny Webber made me eat my words.
Welcome to Portsmouth, Mr. Owusu-Abeyie.
