Pompey's exit from administration has been further delayed as the Football League are still yet to be satisfied that the club can be run as a viable business.
Andrew Andronikou told BBC Radio Solent today that his team have "certainly made implemented sufficient cost rationalisation to make the club viable."
However, the Football League still want further assurances before Balram Chainrai can buy the club out of administration and therefore see the transfer embargo lifted.
This is the second setback for Pompey after the Football League didn't ratify the takeover at their recent AGM as the club didn't supply the sufficient documentation that they required.
I do wonder what is meant by "further assurances" and how Andrew Andronikou is going to provide them. There's still the process of Chainrai passing the "owners and directors test" which will also further delay things.
It seems like us fans will continue to suffer in limbo for the time being. At least prospects on the pitch are starting to look up!
