Portsmouth have been drawn at home to Coventry City in the third round of the FA Cup.
Hardly the most inspiring tie is it? But the way I look at it is that it's a game we should win given that we're playing a struggling Championship side. Chris Coleman's men are currently 17th in their league, 4 points clear of the relegation zone.
What disappoints me is that there aren't too many Pompey fans bothered by the FA Cup this year, that's very disheartening given the fact that we were the holders this time last year but also very understandable given our current situation.
The tie will be played on either the 2nd or the 3rd of January, given that Southampton were also drawn at home to Luton or Rotherham and it's doubtful that Hampshire Police will allow both teams to play at home on the same day.
