Pompey Draw Palace In League Cup

Portsmouth have been given a home tie with Crystal Palace in the second round of the Carling Cup.

The Eagles, now managed by George Burley, overcame Yeovil Town in the first round with a late winner at Huish Park to claim a 1-0 victory.

The tie will be played on the week commencing August 23rd.
