The Championship fixtures for the 2010/2011 season have been released and Pompey's first fixture back in the second tier is a trip to Aidy Boothroyd's Coventry City.
After that, Fratton Park will host its first nPower Championship fixture against Reading before a trip to Preston and a home game with Cardiff City during August.
Boxing Day may well take on a whole new meaning when Millwall come to Fratton Park. If Hampshire Police were expecting a quiet Christmas, they would have groaned at this fixture, which is almost guaranteed to have an extra police presence.
Pompey's final home game is against Norwich but the last fixture of the season is a glamourous trip to Glanford Park to play Scunthorpe United.
For the travelling fans, Pompey have midweek trips to Crystal Palace, Millwall, Leeds, QPR and Bristol City.
No doubt Sky and the BBC will intervene with the schedule a little, but it all kicks off on Saturday, August 7th.
Obviously, I can't reproduce the fixture list thanks to those lovely folks at Football DataCo. so you'll have to visit one of the sites that forked out the extortionate fee to reproduce them.
