Pompey announce new kit

Pompey's new kit is a traditional royal blue shirt with a red and white trim on the top. It emerged as a clear winner against the other kits with kit number 3 its closest rival (pictured left)

Kit four contained the colours of Pompey's crest and it's surprising that fans didn't choose a more traditional kit. Especially with red being associated with 'that team' down the road.

Pompey Sport once again adorn the front of the shirt and it seems that the material has returned to that of two seasons ago, when Pompey's shirts had slight stripes. Speculation is rife that a Japanese firm might step in to sponser Pompey - but this might change considering Kawaguchi's clouded future at Fratton Park. One thing's for sure, Pompey must strive for a big name this year - other, smaller teams can do it and there is no reason why Pompey shouldn't secure a company that fans can be proud to endorse.

As with all things like this, the decision has divided the fans. Personally I would of choosen kit number three but as this is the fans choice I will proudly wear it next season. Congratulations to the club for allowing fans the chance to vote for the shirt.
