More of the same really.
Jason Euell - His agent has been out and about speaking to the hacks again. So sayeth the man, "They are interested in Jason and I would love to get him down there because it is a great place to play." Milan himself is quoted in saying that "he is a target", but sometimes I do wonder if they just send out the MilanBot 2000 to face the press which is programmed with that phrase just to make them shut up and go away.
Carlton Cole - Highly rated by Perrin and what with him and Milan being mates with Mourinho, a loan deal is a distinct possibility. Hardly set the world alight at Villa though and what's more, he's been "a hot prospect for the future" (if you forgive my Championship Manager turn of phrase) for seemingly the last five years. I get the feeling this one has still got a lot of time to run before he goes to Everton instead.
John Aloisi - Apparently wants £30,000 a week to come to Fratton. Clearly he's kept up with events at Fratton and realises we're a little bit more well off than when he left, but he's taking the mick really isn't he? Having said that there's no transfer fee involved, so who knows?
Silvio Proto - Keeper playing for La Louviere in Belgium and highly rated, despite being quite young. Personally I'd rather we got in someone experienced rather than going for another young lad, as what we REALLY need is a solid and reliable keeper to come in and own the position instead of the two error-prone lads we've currently got in the shape of Ashdown and Chalkias. Think Nigel Martyn at Everton, for example, or even Shaka in his prime here.
Alexei Smertin - Go on. Guess which paper linked us with him.
That's all folks!
