Pompey travel to Meadow Lane tomorroe knowing victory may be enough to confirm promtion to League One.
Team News
Paul Cook is likely to stick with th same starting eleven hat drewwith Plyuth on Friday although Conor Chaplin is pushing to start up front as an orthodox striker.
Magpies boss Kevin Nolan alao has now new injury worries ahead of tomorrow's match. Mark Yeates could start after featuring in the 2-2 draw on Good Friday.
The Match
The equation is simple: if Pompey win at Meadow Lane tomorrow and Luton fail to win at Mansfield, the Blues will be promoted to League One.
That may be easier said than done, as the Magpies are unbeaten at home since the turn of the year but on closer inspection, that run doesn't include any decent opposition as Pompey are the most difficult team they will face at Meadow Lane in 2017.
For what it's worth, many will believe that Luton won't take maximum points from Field Mill which would allow Pompey to be promoted tomorrow if they can do the business.
It'll be interesting to see if Paul Cook sticks with the same side that drew with Plymouth or if he introduces Conor Cahplin to the starting eleven to give the team a more balanced look heading into this crucial encounter.
The Blues still have the best defensive record in the league and will be kept on their toes by the veteran duo of Jon Stead and Shola Ameobi who have proved to be invaluable to County's charge away from the League Two relegation zone.
But there's enough firepower to beat the Magpies tomorrow. It could well be a special day in Nottingham if everything goes according to plan.

Last Time: Notts County 2 Portsmouth 1 (League Two - 31/10/2015)
Caolan Lavery gave Pompey the lead but Graham Burke equalised soon after and the halloween horror show was complete hen Alan Sheehan's free kick somehow evaded everyone and ended up in the back of the next to end Pompey's unbeaten record away from home.
My Prediction
I've been supporting this club long enough to know they don't do things the easy way. Luton may drop points at Mansfield but I have had this game down as a defeat for a long time and the fact Pompey can get promoted tomorrow just strengthens that belief.
Notts County 2 Portsmouth 1
