Pompey have been drawn at home to Northampton Town in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Having beaten the Cobblers comfortably in the league last month, there is a good chance of progression in a competition that Pompey fans don't seem to care about. Hopefully the ticket prices will be cheap and a good crowd can be pulled in for this tie.
The match will be played on either the 7th or 8th of October.
