Pompey's postponed match at Scunthorpe will now be played on Tuesday, February 5th with a 7:45pm kick off.
This means that a very busy time for the team is on the horizon with nine league games to be played before February is out. To go with the long haul to Scunthorpe is an even longer hike up to Hartlepool a week later. A trip to Oldham then follows that a couple of weekends later.
It will be a test of Pompey fans' loyalty and sanity with so many miles to travel in a short space of time given the situation at the moment. However, spare a thought for the staff at Pompey who have taken yet another pay cut this week.
Maybe we'll have some good news to celebrate one day. But then I'm sure I've said that before...
