Harry Redknapp: "I thought it was petering out to a draw but if they were going to get a goal it was going to come from a free-kick. They were better than us there. Everton made it difficult for us. Now we've got to pick ourselves up. We're not Arsenal and we're going to have defeats, but it's how you pick yourselves up from them."
David Moyes: "A big pat on the back for the lads. I'm delighted and it's just great to do so well. This is the same group of players more or less who did well two years ago and were doing the same things. What we've got is real honest lads and the biggest thing about team spirit is winning."
Dejan Stefanovic: "We haven't played very well in the past two games. If we aren't going to play well we need to take a point. It would have been a great point against Everton. They are flying. They are organised and make it difficult - but we weren't playing good enough to win the game. What was missing? Attitude. We must do better."
Tim Cahill: "People were writing us off and now they're going to be jumping on the bandwagon. But we'll disregard what they say and just keep playing."
David Weir: "We've been working really hard to get the results, so it's up to us to keep doing it. Everybody keeps telling us we're not the best bunch of players. But we're working hard and sticking together, and it's getting us results."
