Mandaric to open talks with Greek hero

Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric is set to fly out to Athens on Wednesday to open talks with Greece's Euro 2004 midfielder Angelo Basinas.

Panathinaikos, who own the player's registration, are prepared to negotiate with Portsmouth over a deal to bring the midfielder to Fratton Park.
