The former Manchester United striker is out of favour at Blackburn and has been linked with virtually ever other club in the world.
Lomana-Lua-Lua has told The Sun newspaper that he belives the Trinidad international would be a good addition to Harry Redknapp's squad, saying: "Dwight is a fantastic player and it would give me a big boost to have someone like him here.
"His experience and what he has achieved would be a great influence on younger players.
"We have only two strikers and need more competition up front, even if his arrival would put my place under pressure."
