Liverpool Winger Fee Agreed

The two club's have agreed a fee for the 25-year-old right winger who has fallen out of favour at Anfied, restricting him to making just four appearance's for the Reds this season.

Pompey boss Tony Adams will be familiar with Pennant's abilities having been at Arsenal when Pennant was a youngster.

"Pompey have had a bid for Jermaine Pennant accepted by Liverpool," a statement on the official Pompey website reads.

"The Blues plan to discuss personal terms with the player over the next few days."
