Linvoy Primus' protracted loan move to Charlton has finally taken place with the Pompey defender joining his former side on a three-month-loan deal instead of the whole season.
Linvoy has been re-united with Alan Pardew who he played with at Barnet and who managed him at Reading before he signed for Pompey. It's a good move for a player who hasn't played a competitive match since the final day of the 06/07 season when we drew 0-0 at home to Arsenal.
Here's hoping he can get fit and return to Fratton Park the same player he was before his injury nightmare.
In other news, Shaun Wright-Phillips won't be coming to Pompey as he has signed for Man City whilst Harry Redknapp has cooled his interest in Freddie Ljungberg as his search for a winger continues.
