Kevin Harper may make history

Harper will be hoping for a runout against the Faroe Islands - who gave Scotland quite a game last time they met- but Kevin Harper seemed, understandably, more interested in earning his first cap stating: It's a great thing but what is more important to me is just winning my first cap.

"I don't know if there are that many black Scottish players, to be honest - at least of the calibre to play at this level.

"I can't see myself as an inspiration to people - that's just the way I am".
