Hull City have reportedly made an approach for Avram Grant but Andrew Andronikou has dismissed the move.
The Tigers placed Phil Brown on "gardening leave" yesterday which effectively means he has been sacked, and now look to have moved for Pompey's manager.
However, Andrew Andronikou has said that Avram Grant has given him his word that he is staying until the end of the season, with the man himself claiming that he could be persuaded to stay beyond the season's end if the club sorts itself out.
Now these may be my famous last words, but I cannot see Uncle Avram leaving the club he has taken to his heart for a team that is likely to come down to the Championship with us.
Then again, with everything that has happened this season, you wouldn't rule it out would you?
