Hermann Hreidarsson has completed his move to Coventry City and bids farewell to Portsmouth after four-and-a-half-years.
The popular defender was a key figure in Pompey's FA Cup triumph of 2008 and his physical toughness and bizarre acts both on and off the pitch will be missed.
At 37-years-old, Michael Appleton has deemed the Iceland international surplus to requirements after he only made two starts at the beginning of the season.
Now the move is completed, Hermann can play regular football for the Sky Blues whilst the Football League will now give the go-ahead for a player to arrive on loan, likely to be Joe Mattock.
I wish Hermann all the best at Coventry and hopefully we will see him back at Portsmouth one day in a coaching capacity.
