Paul Hart will take charge of Pompey for the rest of the season with Brian Kidd as his assistant.
This decision makes sense as it's clear to see that Pompey have improved significantly since Tony Adams departed, especially with Kidd's influence on the training ground and the touchline.
My only question is how good Hart is tactically. He subbed Pennant off for Utaka against Chelsea yet it was apparent to me (and the fans around me) that Pennant was quite lively whilst Nugent looked tired on the other side.
We've also lost a very good academy director for the time being, but all that matters now is that Pompey keep their Premier League status and should that be achieved then we can look at the situation in the summer.
"Paul Hart's Blue Army" it is then!
