After the resounding success of the Rix/Redknapp partnership (or maybe not), Milan has revealed who he would like to lead the club forward.
No great surprises - it's Gordon Strachan and Velimir Zajec. With Velimir's current record of eight points from twelve, and Strachan's achievements by taking an average Southampton side to a cup final, it's obvious what the temptation is.
Strachan has already previously spoken out in the media how he wouldn't like to work under a Director of Football, although if he can be persuaded that Velimir isn't quite as evil and all-controlling as might be first feared, then there's a fair chance he could be here soon. Milan has admitted he wants to speak to the ex-Coventry manager in the next couple of days, although interestingly, also said that he wouldn't object to putting Zajec in charge until the end of the season if need-be. This one is set to run and run, I suspect!
