Due to the emergency loan system Everton have been allowed to sign a 'keeper on loan because Nigel Martyn and Richard Wright are both out with long term injuries and their third choice Ian Turner is suspended for his stupidity (or naivety, either way it was foolish to handle the ball outside the area). Leaving John Ruddy as their only goalkeeper available for selection.
So just to make things worse, not only is their "emergency" mistake prone, he's also an ex-kopite! I'd love to see how well he does for Everton against Newcastle but I'll be in Chelsea. Would it suprise you if he turned out to be man of the match? It would just be our luck wouldn't it?
Now if only Everton would loan us their league position for the rest of the season...
