I'm happy with this signing as Diarra is young and his style of play will fit our system perfectly and at only 22-years-old he should get even better yet. We still need an attacking player or two, preferably before the game with Derby but that now looks unlikely.
Diarra insists that moving to Pompey will not hamper his chances of playing for the French national team, which hopefully means that the French scouts will watch Pompey and give Sylvain Distin a well-deserved call up too.
