Deacon and Redknapp take charge of stadium

Martin Murphy has been released from his duties at Fratton Park in circumstances currently shrouded in secret but it has been a decision that has been around for a while with Murphy slowly being edged out of his stadium duties by David Deacon.

Fratton Faithful understands that Deacon and Redknapp have taken charge of stadium affairs and are currently looking at a new site in the city - so far unmentioned but it is Pompey's first choice - ironically it was Murphy who flagged it up, speaking to this site, a few months ago.
