Pompey's League Cup first round tie has been selected by Sky for television coverage.
The match will still kick-off at 7:45 but has now been moved to Wednesday, August 12th instead.
In reponse to this, those in charge of ticket prices have done the sensible thing and have decided to only charge £10 for adults to watch what should be a good game under the floodlights, with the prices as low as £2 for under-17's.
Had the prices been any higher then it probably would have been cheaper to go to the pub and watch the match with a couple of pints in hand. However, this pricing structure should ensure an excellent crowd at Fratton Park and a good atmosphere to go with it, as this will be the first time in a while that Pompey will be the clear underdogs on their own turf.
In other news, the home game against Notts County has been brought forward a day and will now be played on Good Friday (March 25th) to presumably give the players an extra recovery day before their trip to Wimbledon on Easter Monday.
