As we reported yesterday, the arrival of Todorov would certainly get people talking about the future of Peter Crouch - especially so soon after Pompey secured the services of Leonardo Biagini on loan, with a view to a permenant transfer. Fratton Faithful understands that the speculation might possibly become true.

According to a source, Peter Crouch is currently in talks with Blackburn over a £5million pound deal - money that would certainly ease Milan Mandaric's blood pressure. The frontman has been in fine form since his £1.2million move in the summer and is tipped by many to become a future England international. It is unknown whether Crouch wants to leave Fratton Park.

Most top clubs operate with four top class strikers so it would still be a surprise if Crouch leaves the club he is learning his trade with. The arrival of Todorov will certainly call into question the future of Lovell, Vine and Nightingale however. Fratton Faithful also understands that a £4million bid for Gary O'Neil is far from being pure speculation.

It has certainly been an interesting two days at Fratton Park with conflicting moods pumping through Pompey fan's veins - some say Milan is selling his assets, the arrival of Todorov and Biagini goes against this but £9million for two players would certainly change Pompey's financial state and set us up quite nicely for a stable bid for glory.
