Trevor Carson's loan from Bury has been extended until the end of the season.
The goalkeeper was originally due to return to his parent club in January but thankfully he will be staying at Fratton Park until the end of April now.
Whilst Carson has his critics and has made a few mistakes since joining Pompey (and since when has a goalkeeper not made mistakes?) he has been a far better performer overall than John Sullivan and Phil Smith, who is still currently on loan at Dartford.
Here's hoping a permanent arrangement can be made in the summer as Carson is one player who actually wants to play for our football club and isn't too bad at it!
