Tal Ben-Haim is to leave Pompey in the summer, that's according to his agent Pini Zahavi.
Clubs are queuing up for Ben-Haim's signature according to Zahavi, who claims that his client is not willing to play League One football next season.
That statement is contrary to what has been suggested by some who believe that the Israeli is quite happy to stay at the club for another year for his £36,000 per week salary.
That would not be out of character for a man who couldn't even be bothered to turn up for the lap of appreciation after the Derby game on Saturday, allegedly snubbed autographs for young fans and reportedly disrupted training sessions last season when he didn't play a single minute of football for Pompey and yet still picked up a huge wage.
He may be a good footballer at Championship level but I'd have to say "Good Riddance" if he is going to go. It would be a huge financial boost if an agreement could be reached to terminate his contract as soon as possible, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him leave in August, having picked up nearly £100,000 during the summer for doing nothing.
Whilst I'd be happy to see Ben-Haim leave, I couldn't say the same for Jason Pearce who seems set to join Leeds in the very near future. Ipswich are still chasing Joel Ward's signature too so it seems like the exodus is upon us already.
So, who will be the first to leave Portsmouth and just how many will go?
