Pompey will be without regular strikers Vincent Pericard and Yacubu Ayegbeni through injury and manager Harry Redknapp could give Bradbury a first team start against the Owls on Saturday after bringing him back to Fratton Park on Monday.
"It is a strange one but I would rather be playing for Portsmouth against Sheffield Wednesday than the other way around," Bradbury told the Yorkshire Post.
"Portsmouth are my club, I want them to go up, and I was dreading the thought of going down to Fratton Park and scoring the winner against them.
"Wednesday have been a different class with me because I needed to play games after my knee injury, but I am now excited about going home and looking forward to showing the manager what I can do.
"I am hoping I can stay at Portsmouth because you want to play at the highest level you possibly can as a footballer and they are hopefully going up this season. I'd like to be a part of their squad."
