Paul Cook has signed utility player Romuald Boco until the end of the season but has already sent him on loan to get some valuable game time with Havant & Waterlooville.
The 30-year-old made his debut for the Hawks tonight as he came on as a substitute, only for Havant to blow a 2-1 lead and lose 3-2 thanks to a 90th minute winner for Whitehawk.
Boco is a player that Cook knows well having signed him for Sligo, Accrington and Chesterfield. He has also played for Plymouth where a few fans have assured me he was absolute dross for them, so currently the signs aren't too good for Pompey's latest recruit!
The Benin international is likely to play at right back should he feature for Pompey but right now given the form Ben Davies is in, he would have a hard time getting into the side anyway.
However, after Boco's month loan at Westleigh Park expires then he may have had enough match practice to force his way into the side in one position or another.
