Scott Allan has joined Portsmouth on a one-month loan deal marking his second spell at the club.
The 20-year-old Scot is available to play against Sheffield United tonight, having played against Pompey for MK Dons earlier in the season.
Given that Allan is clearly capable of playing at a higher level, this is a good piece of business by Michael Appleton. The only concern is where he will fit into the current set up, given that the midfield is arguably the strongest section of Pompey's squad.
Perhaps he will play in a more advanced role as a support to McLeod? We shall soon discover just what Appy's plans are for him.
Welcome back, Scott.
