Today's match at Accrington Stanley has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Despie the work of the staff at the Crown Ground, the freezing temperature overnight up north has beaten the covers placed on the pitch and referee Trevor Kettle deemed the surface too dangerous to play after a pitch inspection at 10am.
The game will be rearranged for a Tuesday night, no doubt, so all Pompey fans can do is sit tight and hope their promotion rivals slip up ahead of what now looks to be the biggest game of the season against Oxford United next weekend.
